Restaurant and bakery recs?
Hello ladies,
I'm looking for a few recommendations for my upcoming anniversary:
First, I'm looking for some restaurant recs for MH and I's anniversary dinner. Preferably something in Fort Worth or the mid-cities. We like all kinds of food, so any suggestions are welcome. We're looking for something nice, but not overly expensive, just someplace with good food, good service and a nice atmosphere.
Second, I'm wondering if anyone knows of any bakeries that make egg-free cakes? Our wedding cake was pretty sad, and I'd like to have a small cake made for our anniversary, but MH is allergic to eggs and nuts.

We really like Del Frisco's in Fort Worth. It's a little pricey but it is fantastic food with a great atmosphere. It's your anniversary - if you can't splurge now, when can you? We usually get out of there for about eighty five before tip, but we don't drink. The alcohol will certainly drive up the bill.
There is also a vegan bakery called Tough Cookie Bakery. I don't know exactly where there location is but you can email them at toughcookiebakery@gmail.com. They make egg free desert items, but I'm not sure on the nuts.

i don't know if it's too late, but Sublime Bakery, in FW, does all kinds of specialty cakes, including gluten free and vegan. they've gotten national attention and have been on the food network.
