What's everyone doing today?
The board is dead, dead, dead!!!
On this lovely Sunday, I'm going on an online shopping spree. I totally just botched hemming my curtains so I'm saying #$%^ it and buying new ones that are already the right length.
Still waiting for a decent game to come on TV so maybe HH will turn off Halo and watch something legit with me.
That's all I got. Pretty boring weekend.... but as crazy as the work week is, I really, really like boring!
Re: What's everyone doing today?
DH and I just got back from Pier 1, we bought a table for our entry way. Our house is still so empty, I am decorating piece by piece!
Need to plan dinner for the week, cut coupons, make grocery list, etc.
We started our day with my favorite -- CBS Sunday Morning - and coffee. Then I made breakfast and started laundry and we watched a movie. Then it was time for football, even though the Bears aren't playing today. We watched the start of the Lions/Vikings game and then left for some more down time at Borders. Got home from that in time for me to take a good nap while HH watched some more football and did homework. Just had dinner (a great new, simple recipe I whipped up yesterday and HH baked it for an early dinner). We have Financial Peace University tonight at 6:00. Then more laundry and football tonight when we get home. An overall great, lazy day (and weekend) for us. Just how I like it!
Well, today started with a simple trip to Lowe's to buy some new handles for our shower.
9 hours, 6 trips to Lowes, and countless phone calls to the IL's later, and I now have to shower at a friend's house after Dexter tonight
Greg has to take a half day from work tomorrow so he and FIL can fix the plumbing disaster that is our bathroom and solder the new fixtures in.
I want to find the people who lived here before us and hit them... hit them hard.
Jacob and I are the small group leaders for the 11th grade in our church's youth group. Each grade has a married couple as small group leaders, so there are several couples that always hang out together.
Anyway, our theme for the school year is "Lost/Survivor", and we are filming spoof videos each week to show on Sunday nights to the kids. So, today we spent about 2 hours after church filming down by the river in the middle of the woods. The video turned out to be hysterical! We all played roles that are totally opposite of our real personalities.
After that we cuddled up on the couch and took a nap while "watching" the Bourne Identity. Then, back to church for youth group this evening.
Today I'm recovering from a rowdy night!!
Went to brunch with Adam at ihop, then he went to work and I went grocery shopping, and then made a big pot of chili for dinner, then cleaned up and started so laundry.
And it RAINED today!! WOO HOOO!!! I read today that our area has gotten 0.13 inches of rain in september. Ouch. I love love love rainy days.
You've heard what I've done, not what I've been through.
If you were in my shoes, you'd fall the first step."
