Hi All,
I am searching online for pricing of some child care places, but many do not want to give out their pricing. Does anyone know of some places in Jersey and how much they cost?
Re: Cost of child care?
Ditto Lily. My suggestion is to pick 4 or 5, take a day off, and look at all of them. You really get what you pay for. We use a small facility that doesn't accept infants (Walkers to 6 y.o) and pay $28/day.
I've never had to look for infant daycare because my MIL watched both girls for the first year, but I know it is more pricey.
If you want your daycare to have computers and spanish and art class (like Goddard or Chesterbrook) you're going to pay about $50/day.
Do you have any neighbors who do in-home care? I know my mom has a few stay at home moms in her development that watch other peoples kids.
I would ask around to people you know and trust. It's a really big decision.
GL!
