As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

New board blocked at work
So I won't be able to post there much. I'm bummed. I've been surprised they don't block the nest or the knot here.
I can try to look in the evening but I don't have a lot of time most nights... Sorry ladies!

I'm just waiting for the nest to be blocked. I think they track what sites are visited and look at the urls with the most frequent hits. Thank goodness I work for a big company but I keep worrying that someday I'll walk in and the nest will be blocked.
I can try to keep up in the evenings but it will be really hard. For example, tonight I won't even get home until after our wind ensemble practice, which ends at 10pm. I won't get home until 10:30 or 10:45 and will pretty much just crash in bed at that point because my alarm goes off at 5:20am. Boo!!!
I'm glad I'm not the only one but I definitely understand wanting more privacy. I'm a little unsure about some of the posts I've had recently about going to the midwife center, or stuff related to that. Really hoping that my friends/family don't ever try to come on here. I don't think they would though.

I'm still putting in a plug for Google groups...it's still secure, can be invite only, and I doubt any workplaces block Google.
This is what I'm worried about also. And if its coming up as 'social networking', I'm sure I'll eventually get blocked also.
I still don't understand how the nest isn't though still!
Maybe we can use it for personal stuff. But come by here and tell everyone u posted there... then people can make sure to check it from home etc.
