What do you think of the end of the world?
Will the world ever end? Or will it be here forever (with or without the human race)?

Re: What do you think of the end of the world?
This. Barring a giant asteroid or something, I'm not worried about a cataclysmic religious end. An environmental disaster or a nuclear war based on our own stupidity are much more likely in my opinion.
Well, it's going to happen someday--likely billions of years from now, when our sun dies. The earth will be swallowed up, and poof! Gone.
As far as our "world" being figurative and not literal, I think that will end too. Maybe it will happen on 12/21/12 (doubtful, but hey! You never know!), or maybe it will end a million years from now. Regardless, it's something I try to not dwell on because let's face it: It's not like there's anything I can do about it.

Bloggy
Add me to this boat. Totally agree with this.
I have this extremely irrational fear about apocolyptic events (especially after watching The Road!!) and how my family would survive. Ultimately I know we probably wouldn't and I hope I just don't get eaten by canibals...or zombies.
I freaking told you it was irrational.
I agree with critti that we may suck all the life out of this planet. I don't dwell over my lack of using cloth diapers too much but other than that I try to be aware of ways to reduce, reuse, and recycle.
I answered yes because no matter what happens to the human race, whether we fizzle out, kill each other off, or are taken out by some sort of major event (asteroid, volcano, etc.), the sun will eventually supernova and engulf the Earth.
Otherwise, it isn't a topic I normally dwell upon.
