Best Monday EVER!
And by that I mean I despise doing the morning session of new employee orientations.
I started my morning fine. But HH lashed out at me in his crabby mood this morning, and although I usually respond by giving him crap about being moody, today it hurt my feelings. And I ended up crying for no good reason. And he felt terrible and was all apologetic which made me cry more. I think I'm PMS'ing. Great way to start the week!
I'm now in orientation and sneaking this in during the harassment video. I haven't done this part of the orientation in forEVER. It's all the handbook and policies, etc. The really boring stuff. I can't wait for lunch!

I just got to work oh joy! I am not sure what i am supposed to do today! I normally do reports but was told that I shouldn't do them today. They are wanting me to do some other things but haven't told me what the other things will be!!!

My Monday is CRAZY!! The phone won't stop ringing and I'm trying to get everything from Friday done before I even start on todays work...
It's my last full day at my current job (my exit interview is tomorrow at 9am). So i'm pretty much just trying to keep a low profile so people don't give me any last minute things to do, lol.
Hope your Monday gets better...I think I will be able to relate to all of the new hire orientation stuff on Wednesday when I start my new job, can't wait!
Woke up this morning feeling like I hadn't gotten ANY sleep (probably due to the round-trip 8 hour car ride yesterday which I drove a total of 7 1/2 hours). During my sister-in-law's baby shower, I left Adam at my brother's house so he could hang out with my two brothers and my dad... bad idea. So they all sit around for three hours drinking and watching football. I get back from the baby shower and they're all hammered (except my dad). So I ended up having to drive the 4 hours back home because Adam was drunk.
Anyway, I'm off subject... so this morning. I wake up at 6:30 and it's still pitch black in the bedroom. HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE thunderstorm. I just wanted to crawl back in bed and go back to sleep, but can't because there's a new employee that starts today, so I have to get him in-processed. I get to work and I've been slammed with stuff to do. Monday sucks.

its ok but freezing in my office!! My direct boss is on vacation! WOO HOO but that means i have to do this file for him and send to the CFO, EEEK. I'm done with my part now I have to wait for other ppl's responses.
I have a headache and think I'm getting a cold
So far today I've dropped Dave off at work, bought some groceries, like...four things, and it came to $50. How the hell does that happen? And then I came home and I've been cleaning ever since.
I'm going to go vacuum our bedroom and then I'm going to make muffins! After that it'll probably be about time to pick Dave up from work, hit the gym, head to Costco, come home and make dinner, watch tv and bed.
Doesn't sound like much, but I'm actually fairly busy.
Sitting here at work wondering how it's only 2:00pm and counting down until I get to go home. I hate Mondays because not only is it well, Monday, but DH also leaves for work and won't be home until Thursday night late. I have some plans with friends after work a few nights this week so I keep busy and stay social but I still miss him.
My coworker is out today and it's very slow so far...the weather is grey and crappy and I'm just hoping I won't get home later to find the dog has pooped on the floor (she's had something upsetting her tummy the past few days and she had 2 accidents in the house overnight last Thursday night when that never happens for her as she's totally housebroken). She didn't go on her AM walk and I didn't get home at lunch so I'm praying she's holding it in until I can get home in a few more hours....
Well misery loves company, so I'm glad I'm not alone. But bummer for you other ladies who are draggin today.
My day got better pretty quickly once I got to work and got busy in orientation. Shortly after I posted this, I went two straight hours going through the employee handbook.
Stu - what a LONG day for you yesterday! Hope you get some rest tonight.
Goontz - yay for your last day! Good luck starting your new endeavor this week.
CT - I am with Goontz - I enjoy watching your ticker update too. I have something to relate it to with my cousin - she will be 11 weeks along on Wednesday, so I try to guess what she is when I see yours.
I don't remember everyone else's Monday, but it's almost over now! Happy Monday Night Football everyone! Bears vs Packers in Chicago - woohoo!!!!

I hate Mondays. Well really, I hate every day that I have to go to work. So basically... I hate my job.
