Skinny B*tch diet?/10 LB challenge

Has anyone read the Skinny b*tch diet? From what I understand it's like debits and credits with weightloss and splurging.

I made a list, everytime I splurge I write it down and HAVE to make it up with exercise! So it's extra extra!

HOWEVER, Kristen's got me so motivated to loose more at this point! I have promised myself and Andy that I will not splurge until I have lost 10 lbs. I know I can get it off fast if I put my mind to it!

  • Where is the debit credit thing?

I've read the Skinny bitz diet book before....no meat basically. Become a vegetarian, so not me.

  • I LOVE that book. They have a cookbook and a prego mommy book too. I think the diet is pretty extreme... but I try to do stuff like not eating refined sugar and only eating organic, free range chicken. The chicken part had a dramatic effect on me!!

I must say that I do disagree about the milk thing... I think people are supposed to drink milk, and the calcium gives us strong bones! further, we are omnivores, we are supposed to eat meat!!

Just my thoughts on it... love their writing though!

Anyway, good luck and let yourself slurge on fruit!

  • I read skinny *** but never looked at the diet.  They're like crazy mean vegans...worse than just being vegetarian.  I like veganism...but they're kinda fanatical.

I prefer Dr. Fuhrman's Eat to Live.  Check out his site if your interested.  Very similar, but whereas the skinny *** authors are more about imposing veganism, Dr. Fuhrman is strictly looking at health.

(Dr. Fuhrman is who Dr. Oz refers patients to who need drastic health changes and drastic weight loss.)
