I need some T&P
I just found out yesterday that my grandma was admitted to the hospital for a lung infection and is in pretty critical condition.
As a little backstory: she smoked for years but quit when my sister was born 26 years ago; almost 10 years ago she had a heart attack and has been on a nitroglycerin patch for awhile. About a year ago her lungs started hardening and they put her on oxygen to keep her oxygen levels up. My grandfather took her to the ER yesterday morning because she woke up coughing so hard she blacked out and couldn't even catch her breath to speak. They have put her on prednisone and a serious antibiotic because her immune system is so overtaxed right now.
They have no idea how long its going to take to get rid of the infection and her lungs are so swollen they have to monitor her very carefully. Knowing that she's getting some extra prayers will really help right now.
