Need quick/ semi-cheap photo session
I picked up DSS yesterday. While he typically refuses hair cuts, he came home with a nice cut, highlites and is sporting a tie! (It's trendy/ not office-y.)
I've never witnessed this before and have GOT to get family photos this week, by Sunday. I'd prefer an outdoor session, but if the mall is the only thing I can get, I'll do it. I don't think DH would be cool w/ spending $200+ on session fee alone (he doesn't get the value yet), but I'd rather avoid the posed w/ backdrop style.
If you have any recs, do they have a blog? I'd like to check out examples before I sign up. TIA!
Re: Need quick/ semi-cheap photo session
The family I nanny for gets their pictures taken a number of times throughout the year and always use Lyndsay from Life in Motion. http://www.lifeinmotionphotography.com/photoblog/
She does the more candid journalistic (I think that's the word for it) style photography and they are always so beautiful. I also know that she is pretty reasonably priced too.
Good luck!
I checked that out last night- for some odd reason DH gets e-mails from there, and he told me about it. I just didn't feel like I clicked with her photography. I know, it shouldn't matter when I really really want photos, but I dunno. I'll go over some options w/ DH tonight.
Thanks for the rec, though!
my brother is starting his photography business. check out his blog: http://hsuboxphotography.com
he did a really good job last fall taking some family portraits for a neighbor. http://hsuboxphotography.com/?p=75
I'm a huge fan of Lisa Woods w/Now and Then Photography. She might be running a special, check out her blog.
ETA: you might also check out constance elise photography - i'm a big fan of her work too. (also a fan of Life in Motion - but she was already mentioned)
Wow. His images are stunning.
let me know if you need his contact info or if you have any questions.
