I'm in a bit of hurt today. We got a giant load of stuff from Home Depot yesterday afternoon and all of the transferring of heavy things from shelves to carts to vans to the house was tiring! Not to mention the fact that I was hungover.
The bachelorette party was fun. I tried very hard to knit the licorice underwear, but they kept breaking. So, I got her pasties and a thong. Heehee.
One of our friends is a diagnosed manic/depressive and is most certainly manic right now. She's on meds but smokes so much weed that they can't do their job properly. My friends that live with her are having a really hard time dealing with her right now, and were going to be making a call in to her dad yesterday, since she's really getting out of control.
How was everyone's weekend?
Re: Good Morning!
That is no fun about your friend Raynes. Hopefully her dad can help.
Our weekend went the opposite of expected, as usual. I really thought we'd have a relaxing night on Friday, but I ended up going out for drinks and then meeting up with friends back at our house. I guess we should get all of our partying in for a bit. Hopefully babies will slow us down next year. *fingers crossed*
Saturday my gramp's party went off pretty well. Although, apparently his girlfriend was bringing up all sorts of nonsense about how she was offended for things that happened years ago or for stupid things about details of the party. Ummm...you're the gf, the party is for my gramps. Suck it. (they've been dating for almost 30 years, and we still don't like the woman.)
Sunday was apple picking and then just relaxing with some football. Excellent orchards and lots of apples. I can't wait to make some apple crisp and pies.
Ah, Home Depot...We have been spending quite a bit of time there lately.
My weekend was good:
Friday: Dinner with friends and their 4 month old daughter...SO cute!
Saturday: Spent all day running errands and working on the house.
Sunday: Church and then we went to the Jags game. What an awful game!
Also, I made chocolate peanute butter bars for the first time this weekend. Yum!
Raynes, -yay to pasties, boo to over smoking weed.
My weekend: Well, I survived the ILs, more to the point, my parents survived the ILs, and we don't have to see them again until next Saturday. But, the stress of school and Phil's parents has finally caught up with me and I have a cold now, so I took a day off today to try and kick it in the chest before it gets worse.

Hi Everyone! sorry for being MIA and hanging in lurkville... I'll try to keep up better..
This was our first empty weekend in WEEKS... like maybe since July, or June? It was glorious. We went hiking on Sat afternoon, and just hung around, and then yesterday and we finally re-painted the main wall in the living room and watched football. We did it so fast and it looks soooo much better now....
I've been feeling like crap recently, but its finally starting to get better so thats a nice bonus...
Sorry about your friend Raynes, my one friend I swear is undiagnosed bipolar (I know two who are actually diagnosed, and she's no different so she's got to be)... living with her was sooo tough. The world revolved around her swings. You never knew if she was going to walk in all crazy annoying high or super depressing woe is me low....

Good morning!
I had a pretty low key weekend. We stayed home most of the day on Saturday, but V had a bachelor party to go to so I went out for a run. I completed week 2 of c25k - woot!
LOL the bachelor party started at a comedy club and ended at a strip club... V skipped out of the strip club to come home and watch football... that's m'boy!
Sunday after church, we had lunch with some church friends and then dinner with my parents.

My mom was in town so we enjoyed the weekend with her. We played tourist for a bit and went and saw a movie. For little something different we went out to watch the Great Gorilla Run - something quite amusing about watching full grown adults run around in dressed up gorilla outfits. But it was for a good cause!

My weekend was pretty good.
Saturday, Jim and I went to the National Museum of Crime and Punishment, ate lunch at one of my favorite restaurants and then went to the National Book Festival. I got to meet SusiOT and her husband - the first Nestie I've met IRL.
Sunday, I slept sooooo late - it was awesome. Then we ran a few errands (love me some Target), made a pecan pie and went to dinner at SIL, came home and did laundry.

Hello ladies!
I had a good weekend overall.
Friday: Took care of groceries and bills.
Saturday: I had that gig at the church which started a bit rough and ended much better. If only people would listen to the person who actually goes to church (me). That night Eddie and I went out bar hopping with some close friends.
Sunday: Just did some cleaning and relaxed.
Raynes I hope your friend gets help soon.
Morning, all!
Weekend was good -- Friday we just relaxed, Saturday was the National Book Festival (we spent all day there, listening to different authors speak: Jonathan Franzen, Orhan Pamuk, Allegra Goodman, Harold Varmus). The day was pretty hot, but the authors were amazing (and very inspirational, too). AND we got to meet rebaann and her husband, which was a treat!
Sunday was blah; we were tired from Saturday, didn't go to the gym like we should've, and I had to come into work. Now I'm working an event, which is never fun.
Hope everyone has a great day.
Morning everyone!
My weekend was exhausting to say the least. Friday I went out to help my parents do the final cooking and decorating for their party. Saturday was crazy. My mom was so stressed so I spent most of the morning trying to keep her calm and stress-free. Then the party happened.
I tell ya, my feet are still swollen from all the dancing. I cried like a baby when my dad sang to my mom and played a surprise slide show of their last 25 years together.
I got to see a lot of my family that I haven't seen since I was just little. Oh the stories and memories we shared.
Sunday, I spent the day cleaning up and driving back home. It was the worst 2 hour drive ever. I had to try so hard to not fall asleep on the way home. I was sleeping by 8 last night.
Good Morning ladies! I had a nice relaxing weekend.
Manuel and I went out to dinner on Saturday night. It was so nice to have a night out after being only at home and work.
Yesterday we watched football and then went to a barbeque at the IL's house. It was so hot and I'm so glad we have a/c. I would have gone crazy without it.
Aaron and I went out for Sushi on Friday and then enjoyed a bottle of wine and talked about our week. Both of us had pretty bad weeks at work.
On Saturday we went and got amazingly greasy hotdogs and black and tan onion rings and a few beers at lunch, to prepare us for our errands. We then continued to have a few beers in the afternoon and then switched to wine for dinner. Which turned into more than a bottle.
Sunday, went to the farmers market, bought some pretty flowers and had burgers and a beer. Then laid around until dinner, which was fabulous and accompanied by a homemade key lime pie.
After the calories we took in this weekend, I see the gym in my future.

Saturday I did my long run - 12.5miles. After that we went for groceries, to church and then over to a friends.
Yesterday I ran 6.5miles on the treadmill at the gym and then went to buy new running shoes. Marks Grandma had Thanksgiving dinner at her place last night so we went there. She always does a candy hunt for the grandkids and I found SO much candy. Yeah, I think the youngest kid is like 27 but she insists we do this. mmm....candy.
