It's that time of year again...

where I have to do an ice breaker with a group of women.

Do you ladies have any ideas of a fun activity to do to get women to let their guard down and have some fun while getting to know one another??  We will have roughly 30 minutes to complete the activity.  I'm thinking the number of women attending will be about 10.

Thanks!!!

  • This is one of my favorite ice breakers since it is a little crazy.

Start by passing around a roll of toilet paper and ask each person to take how much they would typically need.  Once everyone has some, then you tell them that they need to say 1 fact about themselves for every square of TP they have.

    I love it too!

  • I've done the TP Game before...I was an Orientation Counselor and I loved having the 17-18 year old guys act cute and roll off half the roll.  Needless to say they were the ones embarassed when they had to spill 309480934 things about themselves.... =)

I always like setting up like a bingo card and have short phrases like "Loves the beach", "Left Handed", etc.  Then everyone has to stroll around to find people who match those boxes and sign their name.  It gets everyone asking questions to each other and starting small convo.

  • We played "That's Me" at new teacher orientation this year.  It won't take 30 minutes though.

You make a list of things

    -has a brother

    -loves to swim

-has children under 5 years old

etc and when you say it, whomever it applies to has to stand up and say "that's me"

  • I've done the TP game before and it was pretty fun.

Another one I've done before was that you take a sticker or label and write the name of a famous person or celebrity on it. Put one stick on each person's back, and then they have to figure out who they are by asking yes/no questions to the other people. ("Am I a politician?" "Am I a singer?" "Am I female?" etc.)
