I need a new nail salon

Hi ladies, I usually frequent the baby board but I thought this might be a better place to ask this question.

I am looking for a new salon to get my nails done.  I don't need fancy or pampering really, just a place that does a good job for a reasonable price.  I wear the gel nails.

I'm looking for a place preferably in Eastgate, Amelia or Anderson.  Any recs?  TIA!

Re: I need a new nail salon

  • If I don't have the time for the fancy pampering - I go to Top Nails in Anderson Towne Center.  I have gotten mani & pedi there and have always been happy.  They do get a bit crowded on Saturdays though.....If they are on a "wait", I've already put my name in and then gone over to Macy's to shop! :-)  It's definitely nothing fancy, but a good go to.
  • If you're willing to go a couple more exits up from Eastgate, there's a little-tiny nail salon inside the Milford Meijer called Kayla Nails. You can get a manicure and pedicure for $39 (I was there for almost 2 hours!) and the woman who worked with me did a wonderful job--every bit as good as the upscale spas that charge $75 just for a freaking pedicure. And as an added bonus, you get to people watch grocery shoppers through the windows.

    Big Smile

ETA: I just noticed you wear gel nails. They do artificial nails there, too, but I don't know the cost.

  • I go to Happy Endingz Nails across from the Kroger in Anderson. You can make an appointment (which you should) and they are great. I have been going there for years (and the same ladies even before they opened this location). Prices are great and they have fun while they work.

My sister and I had a bad experience there- the ladies were all sick, coughing and it seemed not clean to us (the stations were dirty and cluttered).  :(
