Any recommendations? I like the cute Crane ones, but don't know the quality.
I want something that doesn't require expensive parts to replace, cool mist, quiet and small.
Re: Humidifier for nursery
Don't buy a cute Crane one! We had a Thomas one and
1) The foffing thing basically caught fire one day for no good reason.
2) Connor thought it was a toy and wouldn't leave it the eff alone.
We ended up with a Vick's one after that and had no problems with it. Whatever you get, make sure to read the instructions on how to clean it out completely and remember to do so regularly.
I was looking at vicks and the safety first one too.
There are like 10 different vicks models. it's too much pressure.
And, it's crazy that I would need one, huh, shamwow? But, our house interior is dry from a/c
Word. Drill a hole in the wall or something.
The nerve!

Every time we talk about the humidifier Will gets concerned. "NO NOT THE FIRE!!!"
If you put a humidifier and a dehumidifier in the same room will it cause the destruction of everything, like when matter and anti-matter collide?
We have the Vick's Cool Mist and have no complaints. I like the little menthol scent pads you can put in there -- I'm convinced they do nothing for cold symptoms, but I like the smell.
Thanks for the reminder that I need to get it out of the basement, clean it, and buy a new filter.
So, that is a yes and a no for Crane and a yes and a no for Vicks
fuckaduck
We have this one.

It's worked well so far, and it's silent which I like. I notice a definite difference in his congestion running it versus not running it.
