frustrating cycle.. :( (TMI)

So I need to vent about this, cuz I know H doesn't wanna hear it. I'm getting so pissed at my cycle! It's usually exactly 28 days. But the past few months, I have had a problem with spotting (sometimes heavy sometimes super light) a week or so before I'm sposed to get it. So I have been use progesterone cream from Ovulation day on, and this month used extra, as I got a tip to do so (I'm pretty sure my estrogen levels are crazy high for my body), and BAM, today, a WEEK AND A HALF early, i'm spotting, but it's dark and not bad, but then tonight, heavy like my period. *sigh* I just ended my period a week and a half ago. Dunno what's up with my body. And yes, I'd LOVE to go to my gyno, but I'm flat broke, so since it's not life-threatening, I have to deal with it on my own right now. I'm pretty frustrated from it. The progesterone cream worked before, but I slacked on it, and the problem came back. Now it doesn't seem to be doing diddly squat! ***SIGH*** FML. It's 105 degrees every day this week and I really really really didn't want my period this week.

  • Aw, sorry Z :(

Can you go on the pill?  My cycle was never ever normal.  Even on the pill it is not exact but I have a better idea of when it is coming now.

  • That stinks. I know what irregularity is like, that is how I was in high school and college. I agree with Britt, the pill might help you if you can afford it. Some of them come generic, so it shouldn't be too much even if you don't have insurance. I know when I didn't have ins, my doctor said he would just give me samples whenever he had them.

  • Could it have anything to do with weight loss or increased exercise? I know that can mess with things too. Good luck, I really hope it all gets straightened out for you!

  • If this is something new, then I think you really should go to the gyno. No, it's probably not life threatening, but it's a sign something is wrong. You could try a clinic or Planned Parenthood, where it should be cheaper.

I would just be so nervous letting a lady part problem go undiagnosed.

  • Britt n Missy, no pill. They mess with my hormones, and they are definitely a big part of why my estrogen levels are whacked. They give the appearance that your cycle is okay, but really the pill screws with your body a lot.

I don't think the exercise has anything to do wtih it. (But not sure?) Cuz this started happening at least 6 months ago, the spotting was just less the week before my period.

Mini-Flat broke. That means NO money. I CAN'T go to the doctor, it's not an option. I'm not looking to incure debt that I cannot pay back. I don't even have enough money for my real bills, so I can't add more. And no doctor (especially not PP), could diagnose ANYTHING without any tests. PP would probably tell me to go on the pill (NOT an option). If they really wanted to diagnose, I would need blood tests and whatnot, which of course, I cannot afford.

So whatev. I suffer. It's not paining me, just annoying and I know it's not right.
