In all seriousness though there are some d.u.m. drivers out there. I've seen question #2 almost cause some nasty accidents because people just assume they can go on a blinking light. :-/

I know. All of those things actually irritate the heck out of me. Especially #2. It seems to be the worst at intersections where a busy main road meets a small side street. The people on the main road just assume the have the right of way and totally ignore the side streets.

It was skeeeery a couple months ago when the lights were out in a nasty rain storm. I was approaching Louisiana Ave/Cedar Lake Rd in SLP (2 lanes plus a turn lane going each direction) and people were just flying through there. In their defense it was almost dark and in the rain it was nearly impossible to see a light that wasn't on but it was so freaking scary. It was an accident just waiting to happen! I stopped and waited until it was 100% clear and hoped and prayed no one would come up behind me and rear end me. EEEP.

My favorite of all time is when you are merging on to the freeway . . . most times your lane ends as it merges into the next lane of traffice and the a$$hats don't move over and there is nobody else on the road (or at least in the other lanes of traffic). As the merging car you have no where to go but off the road, thanks to all the dumb drivers out there for giving us a topic of conversation to waste some time in our day.

Okay well you all passed the test...

I think you should have to take a 10 question test every time you get your license renewed. They make you do an eye exam, what is 10 extra questions?

I won't even get into how scary some elderly drivers are. My family had to take my grandma's car away because of dementia but think about the people who don't have family members to do that and are still out there cruising around. Yikes.

EXACTLY!!! They would need more people to administer the tests so it could increase jobs, they would probably charge $10-15 to take the test so it would be increased money for the state without raising taxes, and safer roads. I wouldn't mind chipping in $10 every 4 years to know the driver next to me knows the basic rules of the road.

I totally agree. H's grandma didn't give up her license until she went through a stop sign and hit someone. She also has dementia.
