Hi Ladies!
I am VERY new to this board but I do come over here to lurk every now and then. Here's A Lot about myself: I just turned 27 Sept 3rd, I've been married for a little over 3 yrs (interracial marriage); moved here from Chicago where I was born and raised...Da Bears! We recently moved from Edmond to NW OKC and we love it. Can't wait to start on a baby's room. We began ttc in July after a m/c in Dec 09.
I attend the Cathedral of Praise where I participate in the dance ministry and I'm also a small group leader. I'm a marketing specialist for a water transfer systems company but I'm looking for a better opportunity. I LOVE to create...anything! Campaigns, cupcake stands, scrapbooks, choreography; art is my friend!
It's just been me and DH for awhile so I am really looking forward to making some connections here. Hopefully I haven't completely offended you with my extra-long biography.

Welcome! There are a few girls here TTC and lots of mommies, so you're in good company. Cathedral of Praise - that's off Council right? I'm somewhat familiar with that church.
I agree with Bri, you should check out a GTG sometime! We have one this week!
Oh YAY! Another Chicago transplant! Welcome! I'm from Chicago too--grew up there until I was 18, when I came down to Oklahoma for college... and never left.
Agreed--definitely check out a GTG sometime. They're lots of fun, and it will be a good way for you to meet some girls.

I'm actually driving up there with my mom on Thursday! But I don't get to visit often--this is our first time back since January, 2008. I used to visit a LOT more when I was in college, but not so often now. The only family up there now is extended family, so there isn't a huge reason to visit much.
Now I do wish I still lived that close to the Wisconsin Dells... I've been dying to take my southern born & bred husband there! Hopefully we'll make it up there for a long weekend next summer.
