He likes to clutch it when he's falling asleep. And sometimes smack himself in the face with it. I wonder if he'll stick with it or move to something soft and snuggly when he's old enough to have that type of thing in the crib.

Ready to rumble.
Re: This is Owen's lovie
What is that? Where can I get it?
We have that, just in different colors. Ian loved it.
Now he loves the blanket my sister in law made for him (he's holding it in my sig pic). He chews on it so much that I have to wash it every other day.
It's the Manhattan Toy Winkel. Has a little jingly rattle inside.

I really enjoy the description
Colorful loops made from soft, pliable plastic are easy to grasp and hold, plus caregivers can refrigerate it for a soothing teether.
Babies should not refrigerate this product....only certified caregivers can handle that responsibility
Good. That's usually his problem. He can never get things turned the right way to go in his mouth
Miles has no lovie. He sleeps all by his lonesome, nothing in the crib with him. Am I cruel?
Also - when am I allowed to introduce a blanket into the crib with him? Google tells me never because it will kill my child...is this correct?
Thanks Kristen! Perhaps I'll introduce a lovie soon.
Thanks. He's starting to make the funnest faces.
Ditto Kristen. He's a punkin!
Our ped was fine with a blanket after 6 months, but we just recently started leaving them in overnight.
Dimi's favorite lovies are his socks. He'll stick one in his mouth and parade around the living room, giggling.
"The meek shall inherit the earth" isn't about children. It's about deer. We're all going to get messed the fuckup by a bunch of cloned super-deer.- samfish2bcrab
Sometimes I wonder if scientists have never seen a sci-fi movie before. "Oh yes, let's create a super species of deer. NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG." I wonder if State Farm offers a Zombie Deer Attack policy. -CaliopeSpidrman
