Random act of kindness

I was in the drive-thru at Tim Horton's this morning and just as I pulled up to the window to pay, the lady passed me my coffee and told me the lady in front of my paid for my coffee and the kids' bagels. I almost cried! I usually do things like that for people but I have never had someone do it for me. It made my day.

Anyone else have anything to share?

  • That is a very sweet story!
  • That is so nice. I regularly open the doors for people but that's about it. I would like to do something nice like that.

I hold doors open for people all the time, too. I think it's kind of funny when I'm struggling to get through a door with 2 kids most women don't even look my way, it's usually men that will hold a door open for me and often children. Never women unless they have kids with them too. I love helping people and I feel good about it.

  • That's so sweet.  I love things like that.

The cafeteria in our office only takes these prepaid card things.  When I went down to grab some breakfast the other day I found out I had run out of money on my card and had no cash to top it up.  Some random guy behind me offered to pay for it for me.  It was only a small amount, but I was so thankful (and hungry!) - it definitely put a smile on my face.
