Aww, Knibs hats off to you and D. Hopefully the girls will realize you guys are good people and truly care about them.
I flame H's job as he was supposed to have Friday completely off so that we could get on the road early and be home at a reasonable time. Well, last Friday they tell him that since the other guy is on an assignment, he may have to work part or all of the day Friday. This just sucks bc we had plans with friends Friday night.
Not to mention the fact he gets robbed out of one of his last 3 days off for the year that we were trying to make the most of and go home to visit family and friends one last time before the holidays. So now I have Friday off and am torn bc I don't know if I should go ahead and work (bc we need the $ and I don't get paid if I don't work) or should just leave it so I can be ready should he come home early and then just get stuff done around the house if he doesn't.
I'm so mad at Target, which never happens, because I love that place. I was there last night and saw this banana leaf truck I always eye, usually $50, on sale for $20! I triple checked the tag to make sure it was for the right item, and not that someone just put the trunk in the wrong place. I debated taking a picture of the sale price, since it was so much lower than the original, but didn't -- so dumb! I carted it up to the register and it rang in full price. An associate went to check, and said, "Nope, wrong item on sale."
But I KNEW I had looked at the right thing, so I went back to look...and they had taken the sale tag off the shelf! I think maybe the sale tag was old and someone forgot to remove it, but still, I was so mad! And mad at myself for not getting photographic evidence. Grr!
I hate it that society makes perfectly healthy people think they have to loose weight. That makes me sad.
Im angry with TN because as long as I've been using these sites I've never had to log in when I come on and now I have to log in everytime & its annoying!
Im also having major issues with a hosital bill. I told them my married name when I went in, watched them change it in the system they printed my stupid little hospital bracelet with the correct last name but billed my maiden name & now theyre giving me a hard time about it.
My principal. We have 2 state inservice days that we're supposed to have time to go to trainings work on things at the school. Well apparently this new principal thinks his staff is completely incompetant and we all HAVE to go to a training out of building. So instead of putting a workshop together for parents' of struggling readers now I have to sit in a 2 day training that has no application to my grade level.

Exactly. I had to go to a training on Monday and had to just take a random sub because 20 other teachers in our school were going to that same training. My class was horrible and apparently the sub just started letting them do what they wanted because she couldn't control them. And then I got to deal with them yesterday. I'm a teacher. Let me teach.

Does your state have texting laws? A new one just went into effect in Georgia about 2 months ago.

In Maine we dont even have a texting/cell phone law. We have a distracted driving law, doesnt matter if you're sipping coffee or putting on chapstick if its distracting you its against the law & if you cause an accident you get arrested.
We are o.k. Although today I am still having some pretty severe neck/back/rib pain. We talked to our insurance and they will pay for me to have a diagnostic Dr. visit. I'm going to go in tomorrow.
We do have texting laws here. I don't know if they are going to look into it or not. I do know that the cop was still questioning the girl after we were cleared to leave.

I flame myself for gaining weight, and now the dress i need to wear in 2 weeks doesnt fit me! Guess thinking it would fit when i wore it 2 years ago was fail!! LOL
