I honestly think my DH has more shoes than I do. We have a large walk-in closet, but I can't figure out how to organize his shoes and work boots. His shoes and work boots especially don't fit on the racks or in the cubbies they make which hold women's shoes nicely, which is what I use for mine. Not even if you try to put one shoe in a hole instead of both inside the same hole. We even looked at those white shelves that mount at an angle that match the other flat shelves in our closet, but the they only seem to sell the angle bracket in 12 inch and not 16 inch, but his shoes are longer than 12" so we don't think that will work. What do you do? Is there anything out there on the market that will work? If not, I'm thinking we may just buy some lumber and built a custom sized box/shelf ourselves. TIA.
Re: Organizing men's shoes?
Something like this should work fine. We have something similar and DH can fit 3 pairs of shoes (sneakers and work boots) on each shelf and three on the floor under the bottom shelf.
