Frivolous purchase
In anticipation of the Harry Potter movie coming in Nov - I bought the box set online yesterday. I know I'll never get through all of them before the movie comes out; plus I still need to watch movie 6; but I can try!!
I so didn't need to buy it, but I know I'll read and enjoy them again, so that justifies it to me!

Re: Frivolous purchase
**nerd alert** I have the box set and I normally read all of them once a year. I love HP. I am so excited for the movie, I am 99% sure we are going to the midnight opening. My birthday is on the 22nd, so happy birthday to me!
My only complaint about my box set (they are soft back) is that the bindings have not held up that well. I have used book tape on them and they are fine now but a lot of wear showing and they have only been read twice.
Yes, nerd alert though! Sometimes you just have to let your freak fly... the girls I work w/and I regularly geek out on topics we only can discuss together, it's totally dorky.
