So as I've said on here many times, I'm not a big fan of my job. Well, I found a position at a nearby university working in the Rec department - the job description sounds like it's right up my alley. I have a friend who knows someone who works at this university and has put in a word of recommendation - which has now trickled down to this person asking for a copy of my resume/cover letter to hand deliver to the hiring manager with his recommendation.
So, let's just say that I go through the process and get offered the job. Here's my dilemma.
We've been talking about moving back to Atlanta at the end of the school year. From the job description it says it's a 10 month position so I'm assuming it's summers off. Would it be silly of me to accept the job (again, hypothetical and totally a what-if) knowing that I might only have it for a year? I know 'job-hopping' isn't looking at favorably on a resume but it could also help me to get a similar job/open some doors at other universities in the Atlanta area.
Thoughts?

You guys are right, there really isn't too much of a downside to this. I applied for the job over the weekend and will be forwarded my resume/cover letter to my friend's contact who works within the University. Hopefully I hear something soon! I think it's definitely a job that I would be much happier with - it will at least get me back into the sports/exerice world which is what I want.
Thanks ladies! I'll be sure to keep you posted as soon as I hear anything.
