Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. did you guys weigh in this morning?

i stayed exactly the same last week, but am down 2.2 lbs today, so i guess i'm still on track for the 1 a week. now that work has calmed down I'll be able to get back into my gym routine.

  • I did!  I am down one more lb.  So far that makes it 3 overall.  I need to start exercising, thats the part I hate the most!
  • No...I apparently still suck.  I think I technically lost half a pound this week. 

    I've been doing so much better with exercising, but I've been eating crap.  I really need to get my eating under control.  :(

    I've been doing so much better with exercising, but I've been eating crap.  I really need to get my eating under control.  :(

    Eat tuna salad on lettuce, carrot and celery sticks with hummus, or a healthy choice meal for lunch.  Dinners, limit your carbs.  Dont beat yourself up about it, it will happen.  You are skinny anyways, it will probably be more difficult for you to lose it versus me (Im fat an have lots to lose).

  • My main issue is just not having the self-control to make good food choices.  For example, if I'm hungry after dinner and want something sweet, I've been eating brown sugar cinnamon pop tarts instead of grabbing a piece of fruit.  Last night for dinner, I had two hot dogs instead of the Lean Cuisine meal I had planned.  On Saturday...a slice of pizza and beer after rugby, followed by McDonald's nuggets and fries for dinner.  On Sunday, I wasn't even very hungry for lunch, but since DH went to Safeway to get something, I had him pick me up a corndog.  So...it's these kinds of choices that I need to stop making.  It's only the fact that I've been exercising more that's kept me from actually gaining weight over the last two weeks.

  • You can and will make good decisions, its hard to start!  Im bad about eating late, and I think what causes is is that I dont eat breakfast.
