Need help with hard water stains
So when we bought the house it came with these mayor hard water stains. I've tried everything it is advertised on TV (kaboom, scrubbing bubbles, ajax you name it) and nothing has worked. They wont go away. Is there something that will actually take care of this? Im guessing the people that used to live there never cleaned and its just years and years of stains
Re: Need help with hard water stains
What are you trying to clean?
I've had really good luck using "Barkeepers Friend" powder and a pumice stone to clean the toilet ring, and also around the faucet on the bathroom sink.
Good luck!
What are you trying to clean?
The toilet mainly where the water sits after you flush and the tub where the water hits when it falls down..they are small areas (except for the toilet it really grosses me out) but I want to get rid of it. I'll try the barkeepers friend
Limeaway didnt work
*lurker lurking out*
The British ladies on How Clean is Your House use Coca Cola to clean toilets, I haven't tried it but it seems to work for them!

Couldn't hurt!
Our water is practically liquid iron and we swear by The Works products.
