QOTD:
Penn State- Eh. We're 3-1 right now. We have a true freshman quaterback for the first time in a long time and you can just see his 'immatureness'... we haven't had any Big 10 conference games yet so I think that will be his true test. There have been times when he wasn't watching the play clock and it ran down, giving us penalties for delay of game. We're also known for being Linebacker-U... but a lot of our linebackers are new too. I think this season is going to be iffy but I think once they start getting their act together in the next year or so, we should have a pretty good team.
Eagles- I'm really happy that Andy Reid has chosen Michael Vick to be the starting quarterback. I know people have their personal opinions on him due to his past... but he's really all we got. I'm really glad they got rid of Donovan McNabb and Kevin Kolb is just horrible so I was upset during the first game when they were switching back and forth between Vick and Kolb. I just think Vick has the versatility that McNabb had (in his good years when he wasn't always hurt) and that is what we need in a quarterback. This week is the big Eagles vs. Redskins game so it should be interesting to see McNabb back in Philly!
And sidenote (related to sports but not football)... got to give it up to my Phightin' Phils for winning the NL East for the fourth consecutive year! God I miss being back in Philadelphia!
Siggy challenge: favorite halloween candy?
QOTD: My Steelers are 3-0!
I like the Halloween candy idea.
I ditto millejj, the Steelers are undefeated and Charlie Batch did great!
My Wolverines are also 4-0 including a big win over Notre Dame.
Pitt is doing OK.
Halloween candy is good and I don't watch the foozeball.

The KC Chiefs are currently 3 & 0. Woohoo! (They have a bye week this week; I'm not holding my breath for after the break... They have a tendency to start strong and finish, well, less than strong.)
Bye-Week already? Wow that is early, in the CFL it is week 7 or 8.

I think it's really early for it, too; typically ours is halfway through the season. The schedule's just weird this year... and we play the really good teams all at the end of the season. =[
