As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

"Best" streets to live on in UWS???
We just moved to NY (to Park Slope) and we don't really like it here. We are contemplating making a move to the UWS. Are any areas/streets better than others? We have 2 kids, 1.5 and 3.5, if that makes any difference (parks, kids' activities, etc).

ok...i just saw your XP about your subletting problem, and that explains a lot.
i would highly recommend finding another place in park slope; one that is in the lower-numbered streets or named streets. there is an amazing little park on 5th ave and 5th street, and both 5th ave and 7th ave have everything you could possibly want.
it sounds like you got shafted on the sublet, and like you're also not in park slope proper; i can nearly guarantee you'd be a lot more pleased if you were.
