Clarisonic/Pretika users

Any fans here? I got to experiment w/ my friend's Clarisonic Mia this weekend, and I fell head over heels in love. It totally gets into your pores and cleans them out. I had this rash of small bumps on my forehead (for over a year!) and after two days of use they were gone.

So I ordered the much cheaper knockoff, Pretika. It arrived today and is charging. I hope I love it as much as the Clarisonic.

Anyone care to weigh in?

I think I remember angelfire saying she has a clarisonic and loves it. I want to try it out but keep forgetting about it until posts like this. Let me know how the Pretika works out!

So glad it worked for you Ames! V is correct, I have a Clarisonic and I love it. I made my mom use it too when we were visiting in FL and she bought one immediately. It keeps pores so much cleaner imo. I think hopscotch has one too? And I think Choo also.

That's my 2 cents~well worth the investment! I just have to stay on top of switching out the heads, I like to do it right at 3 months. There's a major difference when you use the new brush head.

Hope you like the Pretika equally!

I am in the midst of a deep love affair with my Clarisonic. My facialist (is that a word? If so, it sounds dirty.) recommended it three ago. I've never had "problem" skin, but the texture has softened and smoothed since I started using it. Bonus: I made the mister try it. His face was in rough shape (breakouts, redness, patchy dry spots, acne scarring-- the works) and it completely transformed his skin. I hope you love the Pretika!

I have the Clarisonic Plus, that has the body brush attachment. Oh, my how I love it!

Well, after using the Pretika, I've determined the Clari is better. The Pretika doesn't have the rotating motion and the brushhead is HARD. I feel like I ran over my face with sandpaper. But it does feel cleaner, so we'll see.

My internet shopping found Amazon to be the cheapest place yesterday--$130 instead of $150. I'm wondering if my next 20% off Ulta coupon would work on it. That would make it $120 (but then again, have to pay taxes on it with Ulta).

It's a skincare tool that uses Sonic technology (vibrating and rotating brushhead) to deep clean your pores and "prime" your face so that your skincare products work better. I find that it gets deep down to clean oil and dirt and makeup that you normally can't get using your hands or anything else.
