I've been MIA for a while, but I do lurk from time to time. It's been a bit crazy in our house - kids started school, husband started school, started a business w/ my MIL, parents came to visit - it was a little overwhelming but things are settling down now.
We got the fourth bedroom framed, it's one step closer to being my husbands' "man cave" / home office - can't wait to get the xbox360 out of the bedroom - I swear one day I'm going to smash that thing.
I've lost 23 lbs since July 20th, sad but it's the same weight I lost last year so it's a little frustrating that I let myself gain it back. But I've started running which believe it or not, I really am enjoying and the weight is coming off.
My MIL and I are working on our business - so that's been hectic, I'm technically "consulting" as we work out the structure and try to get some clients, but who knows where it may lead.
That's about it here - I'm glad I have most of you on FB. I'm always so shocked at how quickly all of the May07 babies are growing into little people.
Re: Hey Ladies
You've been busy, in a good way though.
I couldn't imagine having the PS3 in our room. It's worrying me that we'll be moving the tv out of the guest room and into our room eventually. I'm afraid that DH will keep it on all the time.
I was just thinking of you the other day. I'm glad you've been keeping busy and getting a lot done. As I sit here eating an apple pie from McDonalds and read your great success of losing weight it reminds me of my major need to start exercising again.
What kind of business are you and your MIL trying to start?
Elizabeth -
exercise has been slow going for me, but in the last two weeks I couldn't get the scale to move, so after my parents visit I dusted off the treadmill - I ran my first mile in over a year and now I'm hooked, I've ran or done step aerobics every day for two weeks and lost another 6 lbs - even better I'm back in my size 14's - maybe I'll see size 12 by the end of the year.
So my MIL and I have started an interior decorating firm - she has been doing home decor for about 10 years, I do it as a side to my work as an architect. her focus is more residential mine more commercial - I'm still working at my job so right now it's more support and consulting on my end while she gets the legal / start-up going. we'll see what comes of it.
Yeah I just need to get motivated again but to be honest I am so busy I can barely find time to breathe.
I really hope the business thing works out.
