Stopping your period with the pill...
Kind of a dumb question but I want to make sure I'm doing this right!
Next month my period comes about the same time we leave for our Mexico trip. I'm on the pill, if I just go straight from one months pills to the next without taking the 7days off in between, this will stop that period that would take place during the 7days 'normal no pill time" correct?
Re: Stopping your period with the pill...
awesome thanks, I have super light periods as it is so a little spotting won't bug me too much....but I will make a note to save the white bathing suit for the end of the trip now!
I did this a handful of times but it seemed like I had a very light period (more than spotting) all the time. It really sucked! I've heard (from doctors on NPR) that it's perfectly healthy to do this but some women just spot more than others.
This isn't a problem where I am. I pick up 3 months worth of pills at a time and they don't care if you pick it up a little earlier if need be. The prescriptions always set up to last you a year as it is.
