So, they cancled my class reunion.
Hey nesties! Sorry I've been MIA. I've been super busy lately.
But anyway, not enough people were interested in attending. In other words, they people planning it lost thier minds and forgot that most people don't have a lot of extra money to throw around these days and the cost to attend was nearly $100/couple.
I only paid for myself and was planning on leaving DH @ home, but I guess for most they weren't comfortable coming w/o their spouse/SO.
Bummer. I hadn't ordered a dress yet or I'd be a lot more upset. So that's a plus.
I hope you're all well. Now that things have settled a little I'm hoping to get back on here more often.

That stinks! Do you get your money back? I am glad you hadn't ordered the dress yet, that would have been really annoying.
We are going to DH's high school reunion in a couple weeks in England. I am excited to meet some of his friends I haven't met yet. Should be fun!
Yeah, they are supposed to be refunding everyone's money.

I think the most dissapointing thing is that they just gave up. I know it's too late to plan another big party, but there are a lot of my classmates living in or near my hometown. It would have been easy enough to say, "Hey, no one wants to pay, so cancel the big party and let's all meet at X park on that same day." IDK, it just seems kind of lame, but at the same time it's hard to please that many people at one time.

Yeah we are excited for the trip! I don't think DH's reunion is anything formal, more of a facebook word of mouth thing, but apparently about 50 people are going. Should be fun!
