Anyone thought about anniversary gifts yet?
I'm thinking about our anniversary and Xmas already just because I don't think I'll be thinking much about them with a baby! I'm trying to get anything out of the way that I can, especially as I won't be making any money!! I just don't know what to get!!!
Re: Anyone thought about anniversary gifts yet?
Traditional is leather or Modern is crystal. I have been pinching pennies and saving, and last year we didnt get each other gifts. I dont want us to not celebrate our anniversary each year (like last year). So, I might get him something like this.

We go to Macy's and pick out our yearly Christmas ornament together on our Anniversary
Oh, maybe they will have crystal ones...
we dont get each other presents for our anniversary. since Christmas is so close and then my birthday it is just easier on the pocket to not really get each other anything.
normally we do get each other a card and i cook us a big supper and we get out all our nice silverware and plates out. it is really sweet.
for christmas we get each other 4 gifts and then something for the house. for example this year we got the new front load washer and dryer, last year i got a stainless steel stove.
I don't think we will do gifts for our anniversary, probably just a nice dinner out without Chase. We also have John's 30th bday to celebrate in December.
DH and I don't really do anniversary gifts for one another. We usually just go out for a nice dinner, or cook a nice dinner at home.
I believe I got him hockey tickets last year. I am still racking my brain as to what to get. I might suggest that we just go out to a nice dinner and go see a movie or watch one at home. Christmas is 10 days later and I have asked for a few expensive items, so I don't want him to have to spend anymore for anniversary (if he even gets me what I am asking for).
I might make him buy me some flowers though
CHECK. when we were in beijing we went to a knock off market area and we each got something that ended up having leather on it (3rd anniversary "theme") so we are counting that as our anniversary gifts
we will also go out to a nice fancy dinner i'm sure. (we've always done "cheaper" anniversary gifts because even our dating anniversary was 1/1 - so close to christmas!)
dh got an $8000 watch (for much less
) with a leather band
i got a cute coach bag - this style -
but this type of patchwork pattern (not exact)
