FFFC's

I know you all have got them!

(I doubt anyone's noticed, but sorry for my relative lack of participation on the board. Life and work have gotten in the way of my nesting.)

Re: FFFC's

  • Here's mine for today:

One of M's favorite toys was part of the big Fisher-Price recall yesterday. the reason was for "loose screws". We went over that thing for about 20 minutes last night and double checked everything. We've had the toy since last winter and have not had any problems so I'm going to get rid of it. All of her toys stay in our living room and we are out there when she's playing.

  • I went out last night after the football game. Had two of the strongest LIT's I've ever had. I'm ridiculously grateful I don't have a headache this morning.

  • I took the day off work so I could do all errands all day, but DH unexpectedly was told yesterday that he could take today off, so we slept in much later than I planned this morning.

Now the only thing I'm going to get done is take the dogs to the vet, since I can use the excuse that doing anything else before our appointment might take too long and make us late. So much for my to-do list.

  • I have a know-it-all in one of my classes. EVERY time the professor poses a question (for us to ponder, not speak on) he toots in ?well? I kind of think you want to rephrase or maybe be more specific? only because it can be taken out of context.? Seriously? You are smarter than the ACTUAL professor? He has only worked in this field for 20 years and you are a 1st year phd? yeah, I am going to go with you. I am so close to rolling my eyes and saying to him, ?Shut. Up. Please.?

As you can tell, not of a fan of people that feel the need to always speak their knowledge (therefore showing the lack thereof) or opinion. Only when it's not warranted.

What program are you in again?  I ask because it wouldn't surprise me at all if this was a friend of mine who goes to school at OU.  It sounds EXACTLY like something I could hear him saying. Lol.
