Horrible weather!
OMG....I do NOT want to even leave the house this morning. We are having torrential downpours here and gusting winds. I'm afraid we might even lose power at some point today if it keeps up. Unfortunately work has been very busy and I have to go in this morning.
The worst part is that DH is on a flight home from an Atlanta connection this morning. He was supposed to come home last night from CA but one of his flights was delayed by 2 hrs, meaning he would've missed his connection home to CT so he scrambled to get a seat on a flight that left CA at 11:30pm and will be getting him home to CT at 9:45 this morning. I talked to him this morning from his layover in ATL. I honestly cannot believe they didn't cancel that flight considering this horrible weather will be continuing all day here.
I am just praying he gets home safely because this weather is scaring me.

I agree, this weather is miserable!!! I would like it if I didn't have to leave the house, but I do. AND we are going to the Big E this afternoon, which is a huge bummer. But the fair food will be just as tasty in the rain!

At least it's tapered off to a light rain now...let's hope it stays this way because this I can deal with. The other stuff, yuck.

Ok I first have to say that most of the things your baby is the size of on your ticker are cute. I love the my baby is the sized of a poppy seed. I liked the idea of your baby being the size of a mango. But the Prune just not ok UGH!!!

We are supposed to be under a 100 today and they are saying we might get rain possibly thunder storms. They like to say this a lot but our sky is really dark for 8:30 AM so hopefully its true.
I hope he makes it home okay, make sure you let us know!! (I know, how "mom" of me to say that, sorry). We just got over 3 days of rainy weather, and I LOVED it.

Poor little prune - yeah, it's not so cute this week! Lol.
DH got home just fine and we had a lunch date since otherwise I wouldn't have seen him until I got home from work. It was like we were dating all over again - I got all excited to leave work and go meet him for lunch. Although we joked that we felt like those people who meet for lunchtime affairs, haha.
The storm has passed and the sun is out here this morning! So happy we have a gorgeous Saturday ahead after the mess of a week we had. (One day it did not rain all last week).
