Re: LIP: Professional pics
Kim, I haven't looked through all of them yet (so many!) but I know you made a post yesterday saying you didn't like them.
I'm still on the prep/portraits but I think the ones I've seen so far are definitely very professional an beautiful! I think they're great
Thanks for sharing!
thank you
i like the early ones too - its the reception ones mostly and some of the church ones that im not a huge fan of. but i dont hate them as much today as i did yesterday. so maybe im just being over critical.
still dont think i got my money's worth since it wasnt cheap, but its not like i can do anything about it so im going to be positive about the ones that i DO like

I know what you mean, I think the day goes by so fast... and you just hope your pictures live up to your (very high) expectations. Don't get me wrong, I love the pictures that I do have, and I loved my photog. BUT, after looking at other people's pictures, I still felt like there were a lot of shots we missed out on:
- We don't have ANY of the bridal party posed in the chuch, the traditional way. Like all lined up in the altar.
-We barely have any posed pictures of the family in the church, and the ones we do have aren't great.
-We have about 4 posed of DH and I, and I really don't like any of them... they're all outside, none are at the altar. No creative ones really at the reception venue aside from the blindfold reveal.
-I don't really have any that show my beautiful back of my dress/veil... my MIL and I actually agree on this one, that for as much as we paid for my beautiful ceremony veil, if definitely did not get it's recognition... my coordinator did a horrible job of fluffing it before I walked down the aisle, my BMs didn't do that great of a job job of fluffing it while I was at the altar, and my photog really didn't get any pics of it.
Idk, I'm probably also being whiney. The pics I do have are beautiful and the quality is awesome, I just feel like I missed a lot of shots I really wanted (and it was somewhat my fault because the day went by so fast... and I forgot or didn't think to remind myself/my photog).
At some point I really want to do a bridal portraits/TTD session, where I hope to re-create some of the shots with just DH and I. Though I certainly can't re-create the shots with our BP
Maybe you and Zig could do a session with a different photog??

I love your beauty shots!! You look stunning! And like everyone else said, we're all going to be critical and point out ones that were missed. I don't have a single portrait of DH & I just facing straight one, and it kills me. But I'm keeping positive with all the good shots I DO have.
Thanks for sharing!

Your pictures are beautiful! I did not notice anything blurry, but I also was looking through them kind of fast. I do think you have a ton of great pictures to choose from.
I also have pictures that I am not as happy with and like SweetC said, seeing others, I noticed ones I wanted that are missing. But it was a fast day and impossible to get every shot I wanted without missing out on the actual reception, which I did not want to do.
In the end, I think your pictures are great! Thanks for sharing them!
Kim - I don't know what you're talking about, but you have BEAUTIFUL pictures!!
I think we are each overly critical of our own photos and no matter how beautiful or how many pictures we got, they will never be perfect to us. There is always one more shot we wished we had or one more this, one more that. But you have fabulous pictures and I think you have a lot to be happy about.
