Ok, I've lurked around a few days and I have a different type of BC question from what I can tell. Sorry if I'm repeating something but thanks for listening!
I'm on Necon (generic for high-dose Ortho) to, firstly, try to control heavy menstrual bleeding. That's what the doc recommended. Periods usually last 6-7 days, no spotting, just on and off.
Everything was crazy during the last months before the wedding, bleeding every other week and such. 2 days before the wedding, I started and it lasted 2 weeks after. The cycle I had after this one was very low. Almost non-existant and light. Never had one like this since menarche.
So, my point is... I'm on BC, taking it regularly, within the same hour every day, and I've seen that "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" show before (Discovery Health junkie...) and I'm just wondering... would there be a need for me to POAS just to make sure? As far as I can tell, I'm not gaining weight, no strange symptoms, no nausea... nothing to indicate I'm pregnant, but my Mom and Grandmother never had symptoms, either. What are your thoughts? Thanks a bunch for the advice and please be merciful... I'm new to this whole thing...
Re: Regarding "I Didn't Know I Was Pregnant" show
I would to ease my mind.
But you know...don't the ladies on that show always say "well I POAS and it came back negative, so I had no way to think I was pregnant?"
Just messing with you.

To Puppies - No, I don't expect anyone except for myself and my doctor to have any insight into my personal life, but I figured, there's nothing new under the sun, and I'm sure I'm not the only person who pondered this. No need to get defensive.
Have a nice day and buy yourself a cookie. It'll get ya happy.
I don't think that means what you think it means.
I apologize, Puppies, if I misread or misunderstood what you were saying. No hard feelings?
