AW: Nursery Pics
Nursery is still a work in progress but I wanted to share what we've done so far. I love cherry blossoms so we kind of built the theme around that. I need ideas for wall art to help break up all of the pink on the other two walls, so suggestions are welcome!

If you want to DIY more art, Juan and I bought some wooden pieces that match our theme at the craft store, painted them and glued them to a canvas. Liam's room is blue/green/brown rockets so we did 3. Each has 1 rocket in one of the colors on a blue background with white stars and a gray moon.
I also bought some unfinished star-shaped hooks at the craft store (stars with the hooks poking out the bottom) and painted them to coordinate.
If you want to just buy (or do a combo), I found some cute prints on etsy that match our theme and bought frames at Costco.
We had one awkward wall that still needed something, so we have some frames up there that we are going to put family photos in once he gets here and we can take some new ones!

If you didn't feel like DIYing, Target has some really cute girly canvas prints in their kid section. ?I really like them but Peyton's walls are pretty much set without them right now. ?

Is the tree painted on, or is a wall cling?
I think it would be pretty easy to paint a few more of those to break up the wall space around the room.
Vinyl wall cling that my husband made at work. He mentioned possibly adding another tree to a different wall- do you think it will look too busy?
It's hard to tell without seeing the whole room. It looks like your furniture is a good, dark, solid color, which allows for more "busy-ness" on the walls. Is there a patterned rug or anything on the floor? Do you have anything else hanging on the wall (or plans to hang things on the wall) at the moment?
I definitely want a rug to go by the changing table and one to go under the rocker in the corner (so I don't mess up the floors).
Only other plan is to add black and white baby pics of me and my husband. And then add one of her once she's here.
I LOOOOOOOVE IT! AH-dorable!!!! I love cherry blossoms....I'm thinking white to break up the room. Like a white shaggy rug? And I think black and white photographs would look awesome in black frames! Very classic with the pink! Maybe something like these?

How about baby name art (in decal, framed, blocks, anything really)?

. It is a disaster right now with boxes and baby stuff all over the place! I had it clean and then we bought things and people bought us things. I plan to get it organized this weekend in advance of our final shower next weekend so hopefully I'll get it together enough to take some photos!
