Woah. October 1. Woah.
What's everyone got planned for the weekend?
Me:
Today - work 9-12, maybe go to my little bros' flag football game (I should mention my little bros are in college...), spend some series time working on my thesis
Tomorrow - work on my thesis, help my mom at a school event, finish getting my apartment cleaned up
Sunday - more thesis work (need to send draft to committee today -- I sent my defense date, hence why this is now my ENTIRE LIFE for the next 47 days...), pick up our next CSA box, maybe rearrange our office.

Yay for fall! I only feel this way because we have actual fall temperatures around here (well, fall for us at least!). Goodbye 100 degree weather!!
Tonight: I think I'm going to try Zumba and take the pup for a jog. DH is working late.
Tomorrow: I have to get up ridiculously early because it was the only appointment I could get for my highlights that didn't conflict with the Texas game. Then, Red River Rivalry watching at our friends house, which also means play date for Rufus! Woohoo. Hopefully he won't fall into their pool this time!
Sunday: Laundry, 'laxing, and football watching! Hopefully my football team will be 2-2 after this weekend!
ETA: Oh, and at some point this weekend, I WILL paint my mini pumpkins. I love Halloween!

Can't believe it's October already!
Tonight I'm supposed to go out for my sister's birthday, but after the week I've had all I want to do is hibernate in my house and catch up my house stuff that I neglected last weekend when I was away.
We may be seeing "The Social Network" at some point.

Tonight-just relaxing with hubby & A, we'll probably grill out.
Saturday-we have one of our friend's son's 1st Birthday party, at the YMCA. I have to put on a swimsuit-
-ugh. I am excited to see how Ayden reacts to the water though.
Sunday-church and visit my aunt and uncle.
Mamie-let us know how The Social Network is. I want to see it, but not sure if I want to see it in the theater or wait until it is out on DVD.
Tonight: Dinner with the in-laws ? they wanted to take us out to celebrate my job offer (so sweet!). Then, if we're still feeling awake, we might catch a late showing of The Social Network.
Saturday: Planning to hang out with pup and take him to see my mom and dad. At night, we're going to the RPO with a good friend. They are playing works of Tchaikovsy ? I haven't seen a classical orchestra since I was a kid so it should be fun. Then we'll probably go out for drinks after, since overall, we've been doing good at staying in lately.
Sunday: Watching football with H and our best man, the regular stuff like laundry & food shopping. I also want to decorate my house for fall, with some pumpkins & stuff...
Nothing too exciting... I have 12 dozen cupcakes to bake tonight and tomorrow for a wedding, we (DH mostly) are painting the trim/nursery/and some other stuff around the house, people are coming over tomorrow night for the football game I guess (I'm a little annoyed by this seeing as I have no time to get ready but so far I think its only family and a handful of people at least). It's probably going to be pretty boring but hopefully we can get a lot done at least.

DH has to work all weekend so Amelia and I will be hanging out. Tomorrow we are going to do an at home date night with a movie and popcorn.

I don't want to do anything because today has been hell-on-wheels, but I already committed to doing alumni band (colorguard, actually),
Tomorrow I have to go to work for a few hours to fix my mess from today. Then, DH and I are going to Battle Days. I can't wait to enjoy the fall weather, I just hope it doesn't rain.
Sunday is strictly for relaxing. I have a ton of homework to catch up on, so I will try to do that.

Today: I worked REALLY hard on my second year project and also some paid work so I think I deserve Chinese takeout and clearing the DVR.
Tomorrow: Avocado festival! It's in Carpinteria, so in the other direction, but I totally recommend it SBS. I'm the only Angeleno who still checks in here, right? Maybe PenaltyShot?
Sunday: No plans. Which probably means studying for the qualifying exams. I have about 4 weeks to read 80 articles and organize, which sounds like it would be enough time but it has taken me all summer to read the 10 I have.

DH and I are unpacking ourselves here in CA. 4 BR house w/ 2 car garage to a 2 BR apt with no garage equals floor to ceiling boxes and major downsizing. The number of boxes we have to go through is comical. On the upside, I'm getting to see things of ours I forgot we had and my husband and I aren't living across the country from one another anymore. Small things
