My dog would have been 11 today. :(
Feeling sad...she passed away about two months ago. It is DH's birthday today too so just trying to focus on that, but I am missing her lots today.

Im so sorry!! I know your pain and its very hard dealing with the loss of a family friend. Just remember all the good times you had with her.
My Opal would have been 12 Thanksgiving. I still miss her to this day.

When we were kids we would also remember our dog's birthday after she passed. My dad would always ask what we thought Nugget was doing for her birthday party. We always said the craziest things like swimming in a pool of tennis balls, or eat tomatoes non-stop (those were her favorite). Now whenever I think of her, I always have those visions in my head. Makes me smile every time!
