DH and I went in for my 20 week ultrasound and we found out we are having a... GIRL! So excited. As soon as I saw the image on the screen, tears of joy were running down my face. Either sex, I know that I would have cried. It was amazing.
Baby is perfect and is all within the normal ranges for everything. The tech did say that in typical pregnancies- women have a 3 vessel cord but she could only see 2 on my ultrasound. I may have to go back in for another ultrasound to verify if this is true. If I only have two, my OB will just monitor me closer as the baby could not gain as much as a 3 vessel baby. Has any one else had this issue or heard of it?
PS. if you are friends with me on facebook- please don't say anything about baby being a girl... we haven't told everyone yet.

A friend of mine just had a baby which only had 2 vessels and she was born 8 pounds and healthy. She commented to better be careful with her next one or she will have a 10 pound baby.
Thanks!
