I decided to sleep late this morning and had to wake to my new upstairs neighbor of two months rolling around in a desk chair of some sort over my head and then getting up every 10 minutes or so to stomp around the room. Why keep a freaking desk in a bedroom in such a nice sized apartment??? This person also must have not read the contract which states that we have to have our apartment floors covered with either rugs or carpet since the building is a prewar and lacks the correct insulation in the floor/ceiling areas. I'm not a mean person, but I am thinking of calling the management company to send a nice official letter to let these people know that they need to get their floors covered.

I want to stop working "part-time" at my job. I hate being here so much that I almost feel like I'd rather pinch pennies and rely on unemployment than work and make some actual money. If it wasn't for DH I definitely would have told them to f*ck off by now.
Not to rub it in, but being I missed the GTG, I was thinking of having DH take me to Essex for brunch on Sunday...if we decide to go, you and your hubby are more than welcome to join us!
Ok, my confession of the day is:
The Amish were in our cafeteria at work today selling their goods (and boy are they good!), so of course I purchased 3 mini (around 4 inches) pie. 1 was pecan, 1 was coconut and the other shoefly pie. Well, I LOVE pecan pie and knew it probably wasn't a good idea, but bought it anyway. I ate half of it when I got in from work around 1pm and just ate the other half.
As tasty as it was, I think I overdid it. =/
