We're closing on a house with all hardwood floors and I have no idea how to clean them! What are your daily/weekly cleaning methods to keep hardwood floor looking like new?
Re: Hardwood Floor
I use a combination of the Bona system and the hardwood floor cleaner by Method.

90% of my very large house is hardwood floors, so I have a lot of experience in this department! I start with a dry swiffer or microfiber towel to get up any dust or hair, and then I clean with a vinegar and water solution. (3/4 water, 1/4 vinegar) In my pre-baby days, I would clean on my hands and knees, but post-baby, I just don't have that kind of time.
I bought a SpinMop360 from HSN and really like how it does the hardwood quickly (and with only a little bit of water)... another option is to get a big microfiber mop and clean your floors the way they clean basketball courts. In all my time, I have never tried a steam mop because I fear my floors will warp. Whatever you decide, the best advice I can give is to keep it simple! Those expensive hardwood products out there sometimes do more damage than good, leaving your floors smeary or slippery.
(P.S. I will give a vote for Method Hardwood cleaner... I use it on special occassions since it smells so nice - almond scented. I dilute it with water so it lasts longer, and it cleans just as nicely... no residue.)
