WTEverlovingfuck was I thinking reading this book? There are two things that make me tear up just by thinking about them -- 9/11 and Columbine. I know very little detail about both occurrences because I can't handle it. So I'm basically spending 15 minutes each day on the bus weeping in front of everybody.
For those of you who have read it, should I stop attempting to read it on the bus because it's going to make me continue to sob throughout the whole thing? Or does it offer some reprieve?

I think I might prefer one that flips open on the top.

I liked this book for the commute because it was engrossing, but it's definitely a rough read. I actually got a little bit nauseated during some of the gore description near the end.
I don't really remember crying during it, but it doesn't really get lighter. The author goes a lot into the psychology behind each boy, and those parts weren't as emotionally draining, but still sad.
Cali, I have that cover in the Red. I love it.
