I usually only post on thebump, but I really need some help!
I have laminate wood floors throughout my whole house, except for the bathroom and laundry room. We're currently redoing the entire front yard, so there's no grass in front of the porch, only dirt, and it's been raining here for the past few days, so it's extremely muddy. Everything seems to get tracked in, and I can not keep my floors clean.
I really need to get them spotless again, and it needs to be done before my daughter starts crawling. I sweep every day and mop almost every other day, and they're still nasty when they dry. I've tried using a steam mop with no luck.
I'm all out of ideas and really need to get my floors clean. Please give me suggestions! Thanks!
Re: Laminate Wood Floors - HELP!
This.
And I would advise against using a steam mop. I know a lot of people swear by theirs, but it can cause the laminate to buckle, cup, bow, etc. If this happens, your warranty more than likely will be void because laminate manufactures do not see a steam mop as a proper cleaning method.
