Thanks for asking. It was crazy here in NC. It rained for 3 straight days in my city. Our bedroom was drenched with the rain water that managed to get in under our floor, so we've had to deal with that mess. I think the coast actually got the worst part of it. I know there were some school systems that had rain delays, which I believe is the first time that's happened.
How did you all fair in VA?
Oh that sucks! The weather casters were all saying that NC got the worst of it. I hope you got your bedroom all cleaned up now that it had passed!
I live on the coast up here and in a flood zone so that pretty much sucked. My whole yard was under water and there was 2 inches of standing water in our garage on Thursday (luckily it's detached). It was raining all week but Thursday was the worst and we had tornado warnings. However, none of the school systems closed schools! It was bad, they were putting kids on buses in floods and tornado warnings. A lot of parents complained.
