Anyone else drowning out there?

Holy Hydroplaning Hondas on the Highway, Batman!!!

Anywho. Just wanted to introduce myself.  DH, DS and I have lived in Central PA all our lives, so that's not new. But, last year we got married, bought a house and had a baby...so that all is very new. Therefore, the knotnestbump has been bookmarked on my browser toolbar for the past year and yet I have never ventured over here to my eHometown.

Nice to meet you ladies. Or, as we say in PA Dutch, "Good meetin' yous" Stick out tongue LOL

Re: Anyone else drowning out there?

  • welcome!

the company where i work is located right on the river ... needless to say we've spent all day moving our inventory to higher grounds.  sigh.

long day and night ahead of me ... along with dirty and unorganized chaos the days of cleanup afterwards.

  • Luckily I didn't venture out too much today but my umbrella was broken! It's coming down again now...blah.
  • I was trapped inside w/25 kindergartners all day... it was a looooong day, to say the least.

    & welcome!

  • YES!! luckily I live on top of a very big hill right above the swatara creek but the homes below me couldn't even get in or out. They closed the road and their driveways were flooded close.

i feel your pain. i used to work along front street as well and we would always have to head for higher ground during this time of year. fortunately, we relocated to the south side of the city two years ago.

    welcome!
