Ok ladies,
Quick question. It isn't a yeast or vaginal infection. It is not a STD, etc. burning during sex and then after. Otherwise no problems. I have heard of different disorders, but are difficult to diagnose since doctors sometimes blow it off to something like not enough "moisture," etc. Wondering if anyone else has had any problems in this area. Really frustrating for DH and I. Thanks!
Re: Pain during sex......
Does it happen during certain positions?
If this has always been a problem and not just a recent development, it might just be the way you are built. After I had a baby, I didn't really have pain so much anymore, probably because of all the dang stretching.
If this is a new thing, did they check you for UTI? I didn't have issues urinating so much, but sex killed me. Also, see if having him ejaculate not in you helps. I really think sperm can be an irritant. Weird advice I know, but give it a shot.
Is this a new thing? When did you first notice it? It could be a number of different issues depending on the answers to these questions. I disagree with the previous poster saying it could ''just be the way you are built'', That's crazy . Sex shouldn't hurt and if it does then there's something you can do to fix it. If you give a few more details it would be really helpful.

I don't know if my experience will be relevant to you, but it's possible so I figured I'd post. Are you on any kind of birth control? I had a problem with burning and pain during but mostly after sex, for a long time when I was on a certain type of birth control, I think it was Ortho Cyclen. I think it was caused by vaginal dryness, which in turn caused small vaginal tears to occur (unpleasant sounding, I know). I tried using lubrication and different positions, but it was always happening.
Then I went off the pill for a year and it just went away. I am now on a different pill and it's not a problem any more. I really think it was caused by the dryness my pill caused. Is it possible your birth control is causing something similar?
Possible causes:
wacky hormone levels
BCP
other medication
vaginismus
vulvodynia
vulvar vestibulitis
lichen sclerosus
pelvic floor muscle issues
dermatological sensitivities to lubes
sperm allergy
Google away, and see if anything meets your symptoms.
