Best home organizing books/magazines?
My home is a constant mess and I'm finally admitting that I need help. Can any of you recommend your favorite books/magazines with some great tips and ideas on how to get (and stay!) organized? Thanks!

I LOVE Real Simple. I'd use that one, too.
I love Real Simple too! I just got a subscription so it actually is pretty cheap for me. There is just something about sitting on the couch flipping through a magazine that I really enjoy...their website does have good cleaning guides though.
Has anyone used flylady.net?
I really like House Works by Cythia Townley Ewer as a good starting book. It has sample daily cleaning lists, weekly cleaning lists, ideas on how to stay organized, decluttering and menu planning.

I've never tried Real Simple but sounds like I need to lol. I really like Better Homes and Gardens. They have tons of decorating and recipes and everything else but they always have good cleaning and organizing tips. One of my favorite magazines! Plus the website is free BHG.com
I agree with everyone else, Real Simple is great. Most of their articles are online in their entirety for free.
As far as books go I really recommend "Unclutter your life in 1 week" by Erin Rooney Doland. Before spending the money on the book though, browse through her blog at http://unclutterer.com. A lot of great tips and organization systems and recommendations on that site!
