dx with anovulatory PCOS 2005
off bcp 11/11
a few rounds of clomid and femara... no response.
injectables/IUI 12/12... BFN
Feb 13 IVF cycle converted down to IUI due to low follicle response... BFFN
one last IVF attempt April/May 2013: 19 retrieved. 10 fertilized. 2 transferred in a 3dt. 4 frosties... BFP!!
EDD: 1/21/14... Induced early at 36+6. Our LO was born 12/30/13

anniversary party ideas
so this is probably way too early to start planning, but next year (1 year from today actually) is my in-laws' 30th anniversary. i know it's probably going to fall to us to throw them a party (DH is the oldest, his sister is going to be in grad school, and his brother is still an undergrad). so i was wondering what you ladies thought would be good potential venues.
they live in waltham, so probably somewhere metrowest would be ideal. i haven't put together a real guest list, but estimating from our wedding, it could be ~100 people.

Re: anniversary party ideas
I would ditto pps with regard to the size. I assume it will fall to you and YH, in 20 years, to throw them their 50th (god willing) and you definitely want to be able to outdo all previous anny parties you threw them.
If you throw them a huge 30th, you might be stressed in 20 years trying to think of ways to outdo yourselves.
I might go the road of others, get all the kids, SOs, grandkids together and take them out to a super nice place. I always heard Top of the Hub was good for places like that.

that may be a better idea. FIL is one of 5 and MIL is one of 9, so the immediate family (including their siblings, cousins, their S/Os, nieces/nephews, etc) is huge. the problem is that everyone on both sides is really close, so if we didn't invite everyone, we wouldn't be able to really invite anyone.
and we don't have our own home yet (we live in an apartment), so unless we could manage to plan it at their own home or one of their sibling's houses, we probably wouldn't be able to do an at-home party either.
at least it's a year away!
