We just got back from a wedding in CA and I just reallized how I love TX and Texans!!! I also reallized how "American" I have become which I am very proud of!

It was fun for a weekend but I couldn't stand it a day longer! I felt I was being judged constantly by what I was wearing and what designer it was! It was so childish!! and the funny part is when I was talking to self claimed "fashionistas" I was talking way over their head!!

So glad to be back to real life!!

    We go to LA every spring for a conference and the traffic alone makes me crazy. Also, I realized this summer I have truly become a jeans and flip flops girl. If that's not on the dress code, then I'm not interested.

    were you in LA proper?  I'm from orange county and I don't think I could live in LA either.  definitely has a different vibe than OC or san diego.

    My BIL lives in Beverly Hills. I think both DH and I had enough of name dropping and and the obvious way of casually brining up in the conversation of what they drive. The what they wear is really hard to miss, if doesn't have a logo they won't buy!! LOL!! It was comical!!
