My husband is in big trouble

We did a Target and grocery store run today.  We had a lot of stuff to carry up so we bring a bunch in and Dan doesn't close the door behind him.  I turn around to see Carmen walking out into the hall and I call her back in and tell him he can't leave the door open.  He says it's no big deal she won't actually go anywhere.  He goes back down to the parking garage for more and I'm putting stuff away and not paying attention to what he's doing.

Fast forward a couple hours and he comments on how he hasn't seen either of the cats.  We call them and shake the treat bag...only one comes running.  Carmen is nowhere to be found.  He lost my freaking cat!!!  He found her on the fourth floor, but the poor thing was out by herself for two hours.  I almost had a heart attack when we couldn't find her and dang it I told him to be careful with the door!  And then he said it wasn't that big of a deal because it's not like she could get out of the building.  So I pointed out to him that all she had to do was take the stairs down to the parking garage and she could have walked right out.

He's lucky her found her or he would be dead right now.
